I usually go with watercolor paper that is no less than 90#. I've ordered Canson before, but am going to try the bulk 100pk Sax this next time around.
definatly order paper that is at least 90lb or above.... i tend to use 140lb watercolor paper and i also use that for tempera paint. it holds up really well.
I order a student grade watercolor paper, rather than using heavy drawing paper. The texture and absorbancy is meant for watercolors and so it works so much better.
Molly Hawkins is a great source for drawing and watercolor papers. Much cheaper than any other source that I have found.
